According to the advertised product dimensions, this bag is 8” wide by 5” tall which would easily hold a cell phone. The actual width is 7 3/8” and the opening is only 5 1/2”. Way too small for a cell phone which is one of the items I was hoping to carry. In addition, the card holder is also extremely tight; one of the slots I can’t even use Very disappointed.
