Consuela is celebrating its 20th Anniversary on March 20, 2026 and what a wild, wonderful adventure it has been!  

The journey of Consuela has created a truly incredible community. There are hundreds of people on our teams headquartered in both the U.S. and Mexico who bring our bags, charms and accessories to life. Their hands touch every bag we make, infusing love in every stitch to uplift women around the world. The women who carry Consuela have told us they feel that good energy and we agree. In celebration of the journey, we’ve created a Limited Edition 20th Anniversary bag – The Hola Tote – in our Classic Tote style to commemorate the moment and give you an opportunity to celebrate with us. 

The Classic Tote was one of the first styles introduced by Consuela in 2006 and remains a bestseller today. Embodying all that is Consuela, the Hola Tote pays homage to this signature style in our vegetable-tanned Diego leather that gently patinates over time becoming more beautiful with age just like the women who will carry it.  Diego leather applique adorns each side of the bag with HOLA and LOVE celebrating twenty years of love and collaboration between Austin and Mexico. Attached to the handle are several charms made by our community of artists and stay at home moms in Mexico. The interior features our bestselling handpainted Sophie ‘Blanco’ design on ConsuelaCloth™ along with an exclusive, limited edition 20th Anniversary Make Today Ridiculously Awesome Patch signed by founder Conni Reed.
