Gorgeous backpack and very excited to have received one as a gift from a dear friend. However, it is a big miss on functionality and thus the low rating. For a $445 backpack, I would have expected to see a padded laptop pocket inside the main compartment. Additionally, the backpack is heavy when packed with laptop, or really anything, making the thin straps uncomfortable and unreliable. I cant imagine a student trying to carry any sort of books in this thing. Bottom line...I would have expected this all to have been considered during design...straps with the wide webbing would have been much better and secure for things like books and laptops! So for incredibly high price and lack of real world functionality, I sadly do not recommend.

I love this backpack. The only issue is that the sleeve is only large enough for a tablet/iPad. You cannot put a laptop in the sleeve.
