Show up, be late, be scared, be a mess, be weird, be confused, just be there, have faith. You are stronger than you think, and you will figure out the rest as you go
Hey, Y’all! We are so excited to introduce you to our newest Viva Babe Shelby!
Shelby is a very special-special education teacher at East Cliff Elementary. Shelby's nominator, a previous coworker turned best friend, April, says: “Shelby is the kindest person I’ve ever met! There isn’t anything she wouldn’t do for anyone; a friend, a child, or a stranger. Her compassion and friendship inspired me always to smile, be honest, and work as hard as she does to make others feel valued and extra special. I have watched her encourage and motivate children and her coworkers to give their very best and do things they didn’t think they could. She will drop everything to offer me, or anyone else, a shoulder to lean on.” Her passion and commitment to supporting, teaching, and caring for each of her students, parents, and coworkers is out of this world and worth celebrating!
Shelby is one of those people that spread joy everywhere she goes. Always wearing a bright smile and radiating her fun personality. Not only is she selfless, dedicated, and a passionate teacher, but she is also a loving wife and mother to three young children; ages 1, 3, and 5! What’s more, she does all of this while her courageous husband is away serving our military.
Shelby truly is a woman with a heart of gold. Even through challenging unknowns and worries, she maintains positivity with her contagious beautiful smile.
Shelby's mantra is “Show up, be late, be scared, be a mess, be weird, be confused, just be there, have faith. You are stronger than you think, and you will figure out the rest as you go.” BOOM!
