KEEP DOING THE NEXT RIGHT THING, AND THE RIGHT THINGS WILL HAPPEN.
We are so moved when a young lady nominates her mom, inspired by her mom’s tenacity and determination to lift others. Such is the case with Elaina, Pamela’s daughter. Elaina says, “Many things define a hard worker, outgoing, disciplined, and persistent. My mom is all those and more. It takes someone willing to be told ‘no’ to their ideas over and over again, yet still powering through.”
Pamela is the founder and CEO of Next Steps, a non-profit in The Colony, Texas. Next Steps provides free coaching and resources to prevent life’s obstacles from becoming a crisis and help those already in crisis recover. Pamela says, “We work on neighbors helping neighbors philosophy. When we, as a community, lift up the ones who are struggling the most, we all become better!”⠀
Elaina continues, “She’s built it from the ground up (and during a worldwide pandemic? Crazy!) and in this short time, she has touched so many lives and made such a positive impact on the community. I want to be that strong, brave, wonderful woman I see my mom as. She inspires me daily.”
