Maria is the Regional Director of Rehab and Wellness and Life Enrichment, overseeing physical therapy operations of numerous healthcare centers across the south, including Tennessee and Alabama. Maria was nominated by one of her team members, Keely. “Maria is from the Philippines and is a US citizen. Why is that important? It shows her determination to make the entire world a better place by the footprint she makes across the world,” Keely says. “Maria’s love for the patients we serve is unbelievable. She is one of the most uplifting and positive people I know. She not only challenges herself to learn and grow to better serve our patients but also pours growth and development into others.” She continually seeks opportunities to further her education and has earned numerous advanced certifications that benefit both her patients and her team.

Maria’s drive to make the world a better place carries over into her personal life. She is involved in mission work and has been on multiple missions serving others. Keely says, “To know her makes you want to be a better person.”
