Emory T.

Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain
Let's Celebrate Our Newest Viva Babe, Emory! Her story is a testament to resilience, courage, and a zest for life that inspires us all. As a junior in high school, she's a fierce warrior who refuses to let obstacles hold her back.

Emory's favorite quote, "Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning to dance in the rain," by Vivian Greene, perfectly encapsulates her outlook on life. Despite her bilateral kidney condition, Emory embraces each day with unwavering positivity and determination.

Emory's journey hasn't been easy. However, she faces it with faith, grace, and strength. Her father's selfless act of donating his kidney demonstrates the power of love. Emory's resilience shines through as she thrives, placing in the state track meet and continuously inspiring everyone around her.

Emory's surprise Viva Babe award presentation, nominated by her nurse practitioner Meredith on the 5th anniversary of her transplant, was a moment of pure joy and gratitude. Emory's commitment to volunteering every Saturday at the Miracle League, her initiative of starting a book box collection that has distributed over 1,000  books to children in need, and her love for running reflect her compassionate and determined spirit, leaving a lasting impact on the Macon community.

We are excited to witness all the incredible things ahead for Emory as she continues to inspire and uplift those around her. Join us in celebrating Emory's ridiculously awesome spirit and unwavering determination!
