I’v only had this bag a few months, the bottom is all dirty already (I take good care of my bags) and it won’t stand up it always falls over unless I prop it up, the zipper is hard to get started. I wouldn’t spend the money again sadly.

The Sally downtown bag is my favorite size and the leather is almost as pretty as the vintage Mexican tooled bags. I am worried about the longevity of this metal zipper, however: it takes considerable effort to make the difficult zipper open and close fully, and the installation seems a bit warped. My other two downtown bags have plastic zippers that are actually far superior to this one in functionality and fit. Does Consuela offer any kind of warranty on its zippers? Or can an expensive bag like Sally be returned for repairs if/when needed? Shoe Shops are terribly clumsy with small leather goods these days...
