Consuela bags are always impressive in terms of beauty and top-notch quality. I’ve never had any issues with previous Consuela purchases, but this is my first time buying a zip-closure purse. Unfortunately, the zipper on this bag has been a consistent problem. It often gets stuck at the curve where the zipper meets the side of the bag. This has forced me to leave the bag open at inconvenient times, such as going through TSA while traveling or while commuting. While I still appreciate the overall quality and design, the zipper issue has been disappointing.

Got this bag for my daughter in law..got ready to wrap it couldn’t find it. Thought my husband accidentally threw it away with other empty boxes. Ordered another one..customer service was excellent… found the lost bag.. loved it so much decided to keep it for myself! I have several bags in the Downtown Crossbody style and love that I can use the bag as a crossbody or a shoulder bag. While I love my colorful Consuela bags, I was attracted to this one because it was a simple, solid color. It is a soft leather and lightweight, but I can get a lot in there when needed! This is my go-to bag with my jeans when I am out and about doing errands, grocery shopping, etc. Love it!
