STACI IS AN AMAZING WOMAN WHO HAS OVERCOME INCREDIBLE OBSTACLES TO BECOME THE LEADER OF A NONPROFIT ORGANIZATION THAT CHANGES THE LIVES OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE EACH YEAR
“Staci is an amazing woman who has overcome incredible obstacles to become the leader of a nonprofit organization that changes the lives of thousands of people each year,” her nominator, Kathryn says. “Just a few years ago, she battled a number of illnesses that left her bedridden, unable to walk, think, or even speak at times. She was a young mother whose doctors were baffled by her illness. Unable to care for herself, her family rallied around her as she fought to get well. Finally, after multiple treatments, she began to heal and found her way to Center of Hope, a nonprofit organization devoted to alleviating poverty in Parker County, Texas.”
Staci started volunteering as she gained strength, and eventually was offered a marketing/fundraising position, and now, less than a decade later, she is the CEO! Kathryn says, “Staci leads a team of 21 employees and hundreds of volunteers who oversee a nonprofit organization devoted to ministering to families in great need. With programs that serve thousands of individuals each year, Staci is an inspiration to all who know her. She fought a long, hard battle but never gave up! Staci is a woman who always has a smile on her face and a kind word for each person she meets. She understands how hard it is to get through each day when challenges seem insurmountable. She lives out the mission of Center of Hope, saving and changing lives on a daily basis. She is, quite honestly, ridiculously awesome!”

1 Peter 4:10 states, "Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace..."
Staci says, “God has given each one of us special gifts and talents. Do not let them go to waste. Use them to serve God and others!”
