ROBIN F

HER ENCOURAGEMENT TO WRITE, WITHOUT JUDGMENT OR THE NEED FOR PERFECTIONISM, ALLOWS US TO BE FREE TO SHAKE OUT THE ISSUES STORED DEEP IN OUR TISSUES.
Robin is the creator and founder of Heart. Soul. Pen. women’s writing program and a writer, teacher, creativity coach, and the mother of three spirited kids. Robin was nominated by her best friend, Lorelle, after Lorelle was a student in her class. Lorelle says, “Robin creates a safe and nurturing environment for women to share their stories and lets everyone know how important their story is. Her encouragement to write, without judgment or the need for perfectionism, allows us to be free to shake out the issues stored deep in our tissues.”

Robin started writing after her son was diagnosed with ADHD. Lorelle says, “Her son struggled with severe ADHD, so Robin, of course, became an advocate for him. She started writing about her experience and helping kids with ADHD and their parents. She talked about how much the writing had changed her life, and soon other women wanted to write with her. This led Robin to start writing workshops for women.”

Robin believes passionately in the importance of women’s stories. During quarantine, she finds new ways to share women’s writing with the world through online events and an online magazine she publishes to share her student’s work. Lorelle says, “Robin continues in her pursuit to inspire people and make a positive change in the lives of her students and all those who are fortunate enough to read her writing.” Robin believes that sharing her story of advocating for a son with ADHD helped her find her purpose. Her motto is, “Courage, creativity, and community will transform your life.”
