Niki T

Niki is a Labor and Delivery nurse in Bryan, Texas, nominated by a dear, long-time middle school friend.

 

Her lovely friend wrote: "Niki loves helping and empowering women in the time they need it most. She is an amazing friend and has been there for me throughout both of my pregnancies. Day or night, she would be available for my millions of health questions throughout pregnancy and post-partum."

 

Not only is she the epitome of a supportive friend, but she is also a supportive wife and mother. When her husband is exhausted at 11 pm and struggling to finish work, she stays up with him after working a full shift herself and putting their three kids to bed. When her second-grader struggled in school, she didn't hesitate to pull him out of school and home-school him. Anything to get the one-on-one attention he really needed. She is an incredible wife and mother. 

  

And even though taking care of her sweet family, and being the best nurse she can be, takes most of her time every day, she has managed to sign up for online classes to further her career. And it doesn't stop there! Because she is totally committed to being the best nurse she can be, she even received the DAISY nurse award! This award is given to nurses who show extraordinary compassion to patients and families. Very well deserved! What an inspiring woman, full of positive light and energy, all for the service of others.  

 

Niki is absolutely Ridiculously Awesome! We are honored to celebrate and welcome her as our newest Viva Babe.
