“Sometimes you have to trade something you want for something you want more
Congratulations to Viva Babe Meg!
Jenn’s nomination captured it perfectly: “My friend Meg has the biggest heart. She dedicates all her time and energy to her eight adopted children. She has given them their first birthday cakes, Christmas trees, and most importantly, a safe and loving home.”

Meg and Jenn’s friendship has blossomed over the last 15 years, without missing a beat while they have lived more than 1,200 miles apart. This strong bond led to an unforgettable surprise. On Jenn’s behalf, Meg’s best friend Joni and her kids gathered to happily present her with the Viva Babe Award and gifts. “I was so surprised,” Meg shared. “Everything was perfect—just the accessories and bags I would have picked for myself and in my favorite colors!”
Meg’s life motto is: “Sometimes you have to trade something you want for something you want more.” Although she always wished for marriage, she chose a path that brought her even greater happiness—motherhood. Over the past four years, she has adopted eight children, including sibling pairs, now aged 7 to 15.
She refills her spirit through faith, music, dance with her children, and moments of quiet reflection. Her greatest inspiration is her grandmother, who raised 11 children and always made time to serve others with love and warm casseroles.

At work, Meg plans over 100 training sessions annually and enjoys helping others create meaningful experiences. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring parks, going on nature walks, and hosting kitchen dance parties with her kids.
Her close friendships, like those with Jenn, Joni, and their circle of “Fun-Ties” (fun aunties), have built a supportive village for her and her children.
Meg, your story reminds us that love, sacrifice, and joy can change lives.
