AMANDA C
EVERY DAY, MY HOPE IS THAT I CAN BE THE HANDS AND FEET OF JESUS, THAT I WOULD MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN ALL I DO, AND THAT I WOULD LOVE PEOPLE THE WAY HE DOES. I JUST WANT TO BE LIGHT!
Amanda is a co-pastor at a church in Branson, Missouri, and was nominated by her friend, LaDonna. LaDonna says Amanda does a “wonderful job of creating content that grabs your attention! She is truly inspirational in that role and as a wholly gifted woman! The reason for her nomination is that Amanda and her husband, Mike, struggled with infertility for seven years. She continued believing she would have a family despite the heartbreaking disappointment and lack of understanding she dealt with for so long.”
They opened their hearts to adoption; Amanda and her husband had the opportunity to adopt triplets and welcomed Londyn, Major, and Kingston into their home. LaDonna says, “Amanda and Mike felt called to make them their children and did so soon after their birth.” They were born prematurely, and they have had health challenges as a result, but now they are thriving! She continues, “Amanda is a tremendous caregiver and a great mom! She wouldn’t trade her life for anyone else’s.”
Amanda shares what guides her, “The light shines in darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.” John 1:5
