“It is what it is—so let’s make the best of it.

Join us in celebrating our newest Consuela Viva Babe, Veronica!

This special surprise came during her birthday month when her daughter Megan presented her with the Viva Babe Award and gifts—a beautiful addition just in time for her next adventure!

A veteran, devoted mom of four, proud grandma, and lifelong volunteer, Veronica has spent her life giving back. From band booster meetings to military service, she’s always shown up with heart and hard work. "If I can get through basic training, I can do anything,” she shared with a smile.

Her inspiration comes from her late mother, who raised eight kids on her own, and her husband—her rock—who recently faced cancer with strength and positivity.

“I just like helping,” Veronica said. “Volunteering was a way to be present for my kids, and now, for my grandkids too.”

Her daughter Megan shared in her nomination, “I don’t think my mom truly knows how ridiculously awesome she is and what all she brings to the world... She never said she couldn’t do something—she just got it done.”

Veronica’s favorite mantra is “It is what it is—so let’s make the best of it.” And that’s precisely what she does. She finds joy in life's little moments, whether reading, gardening, or spending time with her grandkids (ages 17 to newborn).

Congratulations, Viva Babe Veronica—you are a true light in your family and community!
