TIFFANY B

SHE'S BUILT SUCH A LARGE SUPPORT GROUP BY SHOWING PEOPLE HOW TO SHOW UP FOR THEMSELVES.
Five years ago, Tiffany’s life turned upside-down when she learned she had Lynch Syndrome, a hereditary genetic mutation that predisposes her to multiple types of cancer. She had to have a hysterectomy in her late 20’s, followed by a litany of doctor’s appointments. Tiffany said, “I got myself into a big, black hole and convinced myself that this was going to be the end.” One of her doctors shared life-changing advice with her…she said, you can learn to live with this, or you can live in fear the rest of your life because this isn’t going anywhere. Tiffany embraced this advice, flipped this new information as a positive, focused on using this knowledge as power, and committed to living a healthy lifestyle.

Her sister, Bridgette, nominated her, saying, “This was something that could have crippled most people. It's frightening. Trust me. I was afraid to get the test for a long time. But she turned this into an opportunity to spread awareness. Lynch syndrome is fairly new, and there is not much awareness. Having this information saves lives. Tiffany became an advocate for Lynch Syndrome and a supporter of female empowerment. She's built such a large support group by showing people how to show up for themselves.”

Today, Tiffany is the healthiest she’s ever been. She runs, eats clean, and works harder than ever before! Plus, she shares how much her faith and family’s bond has grown through this journey.

Thank you, Tiffany, for showing us that taking care of yourself and the power of positivity can change your trajectory and lead to incredible strength and joy!
