Teri lives in Casa Grande, Arizona, and was nominated by her husband, Aaron. Aaron says, “Several years ago, my wife began work in 3rd world nations, rescuing orphaned children from the worst injustices you can imagine, from abandonment, trafficking, child slavery, starvation, and death. Her efforts culminated in the development of a growing and thriving non-profit that now has rescue operations in 5 nations (Albania, India, Nepal, Philippines, and Mexico)".
Their non-profit, Expect Hope, delivers a hopeful future for these children by ending the cycle of poverty and providing the care and support they need. Aaron says, “She personally developed a sponsorship program that creates sustainable giving and therefore sustainable life for these children, and now the organization has rescued over 600 children and takes care of them daily.”
