When her first grandchild needed extra medical support, Tami didn’t hesitate—she moved 215 miles to be there. That’s the kind of person she is: an amazing mother, woman, and grandmother who always shows up with love, encouragement, and unwavering support. Her daughter Hannah says, “She continually puts others before herself.” Tami's kindness fills every room she enters.
In April, life changed unexpectedly when Tami was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. Despite the challenges, she keeps hope alive. “From the beginning, I had my faith,” she shared. Her strength has seen her through treatments and toward healing, surrounded by loved ones who adore her.
Her celebration was as heartfelt as she is. Tami thought she was meeting her family at the Smithville Consuela store for lunch nearby, but instead, Hannah and the team surprised her with flowers, gifts, and the Viva Babe Award. “I was so shocked… what a blessing,” Tami said. “It lifted me up, especially right before my surgery. I couldn’t believe it.”
Tami lives by her favorite verse: “Blessed is she who has believed that the Lord would fulfill His promises to her!” —Luke 1:45. This inspires her daily to choose joy, faith, and purpose.
She enjoys giving back—baking cookies, writing notes, and finding ways to bless others. “It’s important to show up,” she said. “It blesses them, and it blesses you.”
Her daughter, Hannah, describes her as “the strongest woman I know.”
