During her junior year, one of her teachers nominated her for a 'Positive Principal Referral.' The nomination stated, 'Riley is a tremendous student and an all-around great human being!' Riley excels both as a student and an athlete, shining on the basketball court as a varsity point guard since her freshman year. Her leadership and talent have significantly contributed to her team’s success in the Northern 10 conference. However, Riley’s journey hasn’t been without challenges. After being diagnosed with alopecia, she faced bullying at school. Despite these hardships, Riley continued to excel in her studies, dominate the basketball court, and spread kindness to everyone around her.
Riley draws strength from her family, especially her mom, who is an extraordinary role model. Her mom’s unwavering positivity has greatly influenced Riley, who now aspires to be a similar role model for younger kids.
