Meet our newest Viva Babe, Piper—a 14-year-old powerhouse of joy, strength, and faith. This year, she begins her freshman year of high school, carrying with her the life mantra: “I am never alone.”

For the past 10 months, Piper has been bravely fighting Rhabdomyosarcoma. Through hair loss, 10 months of grueling chemo, 6 weeks of radiation, and many sick days, she’s kept a positive attitude and all A’s on her report card. As her mom and nominator, Cortney, shared: “She has endured this incredibly tough journey with a smile on her face. She is a ridiculously awesome and brave young woman, and I’m so proud to be her momma!”

Piper’s light shines in so many ways—through her love of singing, dancing, and spending quality time with friends. She finds joy in her animals (chickens, sheep, dogs, and fish), her faith, and recharges by laughing and creating memories with those she loves.

When surprised with her Viva Babe Award, Piper was “over the moon happy,” opening the Consuela pink mesh bag filled with gifts and the award. Her favorite is the Karakoee midtown crossbody that she carries every day, and the Twy slim wallet that makes her smile each time she uses it.
