Congratulations to our newest Consuela Viva Babe Nancy! What started as a simple coffee date turned into an unforgettable surprise for Nancy! Her dear friend, Amy, arrived with a big pink bag and exciting news—she had nominated Nancy for the Consuela Viva Babe Award! The moment was surreal, filled with happy tears, laughter, and pure joy. Nancy proudly displays her Awesomeness Award in her home art studio, where she creates, dreams, and inspires.

Nancy is more than an art teacher at Flower Mound High School—she is a mentor, an artist, and a light to everyone around her. For 19 years, she has poured her heart into teaching, and for the past nine years, she has guided high school students, helping them express themselves through art. She runs the Flower Mound High School Art Club, and you can count on her smile and presence at every art show, awards ceremony, or any opportunity to celebrate her students' hard work and creativity.

Her faith and family fuel her positivity. She reminds her students, "You won't have today again—enjoy it!" and lives by the mantra shared by a mentor: "Live every day and love every moment."

Outside the classroom, Nancy finds joy in spending time with her family, watching sunsets, hiking, working in her home studio, painting, drawing, and embracing creativity. Selling her paintings reminds her that she is fulfilling her purpose of creating and sharing beauty with the world.

"Nancy is the color, joy, happiness, and support she provides to everyone around her. In particular, Nancy brings me immense joy because she finds beauty in everything!  I admire her so much, and she deserves recognition for being herself. She is amazing!"
