Congratulations to our newest Viva Babe, Lety! She is a vibrant force of love and leadership in Arkansas—a woman who uplifts others, champions health and wellness, and uses her voice to empower her community every day. As an on-air personality at La Zeta 95.7 FM, she spreads hope, information, and joy to thousands of listeners.

During the American Heart Association's Vestido Rojo event, Angela surprised Lety with the Viva Babe Award and gifts. Lety has played a key role in the event's success over the years as a Madrina, helping spread the message. She was completely blown away, sharing, “It was very emotional. I do everything for my community without expecting anything in return. It made me cry.”

For years, Lety has inspired women through Zumba, wellness events, and her deep commitment to causes like Susan G. Komen, women’s shelters, and the American Heart Association. She and her husband have also supported countless community events, including fundraisers for the Children’s Hospital, for more than 13 years, raising over $3 million.

Her nominator, Angela, shared, “Lety gives selflessly, always. She is the heart of our community.” She also added, “Her love, her passion, and her spirit lift everyone around her.”

Lety’s life mantra is, “From everything you learn.” She believes that what defines us is not money, but “what is inside and how we help other people.”
