She’s a licensed florist who has owned and operated her small business for an impressive 18 years. From crafting breathtaking floral arrangements to celebrating life’s most significant milestones, Leslie brings joy, light, and love to everyone she encounters.

Her surprise Viva Babe celebration, organized by her friend and nominator Michele, was truly unforgettable. Leslie walked into her beautifully decorated flower shop, completely unaware of the celebration that awaited her. Surrounded by her loved ones and friends, she received the Viva Babe Award and gifts while Michele shared her heartfelt nomination. It’s a memory she will cherish forever!

Leslie’s journey is truly remarkable. As an infant, she faced a life-threatening challenge that left her with lasting disabilities, yet she never allowed that to define her. She lives by the mantra, “Can’t, never could, and could never can’t,” which is a powerful reminder from her dance teacher. This mantra has guided her through life with courage and determination.

For Leslie, joy comes from connecting with others. Whether dancing happily in her kitchen to Jennifer Lopez or Bob Marley, gardening, or spending time with her family, her days are filled with love, laughter, and purpose. At work, she finds deep meaning in being part of life’s most significant moments—helping customers celebrate weddings, baby births, and birthdays and honoring loved ones during times of loss.

Michele, who nominated Leslie, beautifully described her as a “SuperStar.” Michele says, “She is truly the most talented lady who shares and teaches her skills. I know this because I’m fortunate to call her my friend, my teacher, and my boss. Leslie makes this crazy world ridiculously awesome because she focuses on the positive in every situation, thanks to her beautiful smile, caring nature, silliness, and laughter.”
