KRISTI H

THIS IS WHAT SHE DOES, WHO SHE IS, WILLING TO JUMP IN AND HELP THOSE WHO NEED IT AND KEEPING A POSITIVE ATTITUDE THROUGHOUT.
Kristi’s husband Dave nominated her, saying, “I am so fortunate to be married to Kristi. She is such a strong, inspirational woman with a great sense of humor to boot. In 2017, our home was flooded by Hurricane Harvey. Seeing similar situations on the news in the past, I always wondered how people got themselves in that situation. But after going through a natural disaster like that, I learned that mother nature can be cruel and unyielding. With the knowledge, we learned about Harvey, and rebuilding our home, Kristi has helped others numerous times after they've gone through similar situations.”

During the epic ‘Snowmagedden’ in Texas this past February, Kristi didn’t miss a beat; She quickly reached out to her neighbors, sharing the best way to prepare their homes by draining water lines, prepping pools, and landscaping, etc. Dave says, “Recently, severe storms rolled through Katy, TX. We were attending a cul-de-sac social with our neighbors, and one of our neighbors' houses had a severe roof leak. Kristi immediately jumped into action, working with the neighbors to save furniture and hardwood floors. She coordinated with other neighbors to bring in industrial fans to dry out the first floor and save the owners thousands of dollars. Kristi's take-charge attitude kicked in, and she was able to help our neighbors in a stressful situation. All the while keeping her sense of humor and uplifting our neighbors. This is what she does, who she is, willing to jump in and help those who need it and keeping a positive attitude throughout.”

Kristi says her most important words are "f" words , “faith, family, friends, and fun.” And, her favorite saying is, “Hard work pays off every single time.”
