KARA ALWAYS PUTS HER FRIENDS AND FAMILY FIRST AND CONTINUED TO DO SO AS A LAW STUDENT. KARA HUMBLY CONTINUES TO GROW FOR THE CAUSE.
Viva Babe Kara is generous with her talents and determined to make a difference!

Kara lives in Dallas, Texas, and just completed her law degree from North Carolina Central University. Her nominator Jordan says, “Kara (car-ra) is everything perseverance is... Kara decided to enter law school after craving more professionally. Witnessing and experiencing social injustices shed light and understanding on how she could benefit the judicial system. Kara was accepted into several historically black law schools when she decided to return to school in 2019. Attending an HBCU was extremely important to her, given the racial climate in our nation at that time. Kara had previously worked as a parole officer and a child support officer, both public service positions; Kara sought to continue in a career in this same field.”

“The most insane thing about Kara was that Kara recently entered a pool of candidates for a professional position after graduating law school at the Department of Justice to which only one person would be selected - Kara was chosen for this position.”

Kara is selfless and dedicated in her pursuits. Jordan says, “Kara always puts her friends and family first and continued to do so as a law student. Kara humbly continues to grow for the cause.”
