JANICE, ORTENSIA, & SUE

Join us in celebrating our newest Consulea Viva Babes: Janice, Sue, and Ortensia! These three ridiculously awesome women were surprised with the Viva Babe Award at the 13th annual Women's Health Seminar hosted by the Inside Out Foundation, where their nominator, Alexis, emphasized their positive impact. With over 1,900 combined volunteer hours, their kindness and dedication shine brightly!

Every Wednesday, you can find Janice, Sue, and Ortensia bringing warmth, comfort, and encouragement to other women who courageously face life’s most significant challenges. Whether it’s sewing heart and port pillows for survivors of traumatic events, fitting wigs for women experiencing hair loss during chemotherapy, assisting in the boutique, or simply sharing a smile, these extraordinary women embody the true spirit of giving back.

Alexis put it best: “They do everything out of the goodness of their hearts, never asking for anything in return, and they keep our mission going. We are extremely grateful for Janice, Sue, and Ortensia. Not only do they volunteer every week, but the encouragement and kindness they provide to our clients are truly uplifting.”

Beyond volunteering, these women find joy in life’s special moments: Janice loves working in her garden, traveling, and spending time with friends. Ortensia stays active with pickleball and cherishes family gatherings. Sue adores watching her grandkids play ball and laughing with loved ones.

Their surprise celebration overflowed with happy tears, gratitude, and pure joy. “I was emotional. I had never received an honor like this,” Janice shared. “I felt so blessed,” Ortensia added. And Sue remarked, “I was crying—I had no idea this was coming!”
