Ivey O
Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.
Our Viva Babe Ivey has a remarkable soul and compassion that knows no bounds. From the young age of 5 years old, Ivey’s calling was clear as she carried around a first aid kit and diagnosed friends and family, logging each of their symptoms in a book, which she still treasures to this day.
Now at 28 years old, Ivey is not just an exceptional ER Nurse; she is a caregiver at heart. Throughout the COVID pandemic, she served in a busy ER, all while pregnant and having hyperemesis gravidarum. Ivey’s dedication to her patients and their families is awe-inspiring, as she knows that empathy in dark times can heal more than medicine.
Ivey’s compassion extends beyond the hospital walls as she volunteers on medical mission trips to other countries and at her church’s preschool program. She will regularly cook and deliver goodies to those who are down, sick, or otherwise just need a pick-me-up. She does all this while balancing her nursing career and motherhood.
As we celebrate Ivey’s newest bundle of joy, we also want to congratulate her on this beautiful journey into motherhood once again. Ivey’s heart of compassion will undoubtedly inspire and guide her little ones as they grow, just as it has touched the lives of countless others.
Ivey’s favorite quote is, “Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.” Colossians 3:12 NIV
