Hillary is a pharmacist in Raleigh, North Carolina, and was nominated by a fellow local pharmacist, Alysha. The pharmacy world has had more than its fair share of obstacles and challenges this past year with the pandemic, but Hillary stepped up as a guiding light for her colleagues and her community. Alysha says Hillary is a peer of mine and always encouraging me to be the best version of myself. She has helped with all things covid; with pharmacy-from drive-thru testing sites to getting the vaccine into the community.”
Not only is she committed to her pharmacy work, she is also dedicated to volunteering and making a difference in her town. Alysha says, “While we know she puts in more than just the 40-hour work week-the work doesn’t stop at her regular job. She is volunteering in the community to keep Raleigh safe while taking care of twin girls at home! She is also an advocate and ally for the LGBTQ community-providing these patients with healthcare in an environment where they know they are safe and receiving exceptional care.”
Hillary strives to put forth her best efforts each day and encourages her kids with her mantra, “Be the best 'You' you can be today. That is enough.”
