Dee

Lebanon, Tennessee

A proud Tennessee native, Dee shows up for her community in ways that are both powerful and deeply personal.

At the Tennessee Law Enforcement Training Academy, she wears more hats than we can count. She serves as Assistant Trackmaster, trains officers in domestic violence and officer wellness, manages cadet uniforms, oversees the fleet, and steps in wherever she’s needed. Each year, she helps train more than 500 cadets, showing up with dedication, heart, and an unwavering commitment to others.

But what truly sets Dee apart is who she is beyond the titles.

She is a mentor to young cadets, many of whom are navigating life without strong support systems. She meets them where they are, lifting them up not just in training, but in life. Whether she’s encouraging them through physical challenges (she’s also a marathon runner!) or simply showing up when someone needs guidance, Dee leads with compassion and strength.

Before stepping into law enforcement in 2019, Dee spent years making a difference in education, a calling that still shines through in everything she does. From the moment she was a cadet, it was clear there was something special about her. Today, that same spirit continues to inspire everyone lucky enough to work alongside her.

She’s also a proud mom, a loving fur mama, and a steady, loyal presence to her team. In a field where women’s contributions can sometimes be overlooked, Dee stands as a powerful example of resilience, integrity, and heart.

Dee is a leader, and a light for so many. We see you, we celebrate you, and we are so proud to call you a Viva Babe.
