FROM NEONATAL PUPPIES AND KITTENS TO TURTLES, FISH, REPTILES, CHICKENS, ETC., SHE HAS RESCUED SO MANY ANIMALS AND RAISED THEM FROM A FEW DAYS OLD UNTIL THEY WERE READY FOR THEIR FOREVER HOMES. SHE'S ALWAYS THERE TO HELP RAISE MONEY AND TO SUPPORT OTHER RESCUE GROUPS IN THE AREA.
Candon strives to be a voice for all animals. And her passion for rescuing and rehabilitating animals through her rescue is ridiculously awesome!
Candon lives in Richardson, Texas, and she has saved hundreds of animals' lives over the last 30 years. She was nominated by a neighbor and friend, Lisa. Lisa says, "From neonatal puppies and kittens to turtles, fish, reptiles, chickens, etc., she has rescued so many animals and raised them from a few days old until they were ready for their forever homes. She's always there to help raise money and to support other rescue groups in the area. She will help you find the right place for an animal that you're trying to save if she is unable to take it in."
"She's kind, she's gentle, and she's caring," Lisa says. "She has tons of references for just about anything you might need for any type of animal. I don't know that I've ever met anybody exactly like her. She and her family give everything to the animals that she rescues. All of our neighbors know her and contribute at different times to help her with certain equipment and food when she takes in a litter that was dumped or surrendered. We are now trying to raise money for an incubator. I would love to honor and recognize her for something she is passionate about."
