Congratulations to Angele, Jenna, and Stacie, our newest Consuela Viva Babes! These three ridiculously awesome women are counselors at Cinco Ranch High School in Katy, Texas, and they embody everything the Viva Babe Award celebrates: service, strength, kindness, tenacity, humor, and love.                               

What started as a typical Monday in the counselors' office quickly turned into an unforgettable moment when their colleague and good friend, Kari, surprised them with avocado shakers shaking and the announcement: “I did a thing!” Kari revealed she had nominated the trio for the Viva Babe Award, and soon, the room was filled with shock, joy, open mouths, a few tears, and lots of love.                                         

Kari’s heartfelt nomination highlighted their remarkable kindness, friendship, and love. This past year, while Kari battled breast cancer, Angele, Jenna, and Stacie stepped up with compassion and grace. They managed the demanding start of a school year—helping seniors with graduation requirements, schedule changes, and emotional well-being—while also exceptionally supporting Kari and her family through an incredibly challenging time.                                                                          

Their mantra, “Teamwork makes the dream work… and more fun!” perfectly reflects their bond and approach to life and work. Together, they’ve created a supportive, joyful environment where they inspire students and each other daily.                          

When asked what sparks joy in their lives, they each shared unique perspectives. For Angele, it’s travel and spending time with her family. For Jenna, it’s her two little boys and seeing her students grow from freshmen to seniors. For Stacie, it’s creating meaningful connections and finding joy in the small moments, like floating in the pool with her pets.                                                                                                 

These three women are beautiful souls in their school and community. They spread positivity and kindness while navigating the challenges of counseling thousands of students. They uplift those around them and remind us of the power of love, teamwork, and kindness.
