Join us in celebrating our newest Viva Babe, Alyssa! 

At the Impact Austin Annual Meeting, Alyssa was surprised when her name was called. Nominated by the Impact Austin Board, she was recognized for her extraordinary leadership, compassion, and behind-the-scenes brilliance as their Philanthropy Operations Manager.

"I was completely shocked to receive an award for being me, and for being the person that I know Impact Austin needs. I like to shine a spotlight on others, so it meant the world to be seen and celebrated," shared Alyssa.

As the Philanthropy Operations Manager, Alyssa juggles multiple roles—supporting just under 300 members, leading operations, collaborating with community partners, and improving systems—all with grace and purpose. She’s also an entrepreneur with her own nonprofit consulting business, and she truly enjoys working with her mom and sister, as well as homeschooling her two children.

Currently, she’s working toward her Doctorate and finds strength in her faith, her family, and the flexibility to take time off for meaningful moments with loved ones. Her greatest joy comes from her kids, who have been through tough times with her. "I wouldn’t be who I am without them," she says.

The Impact Austin Board shares that Alyssa is genuinely passionate and incredibly organized. "She is a true joy to be around! As our only staff member, one of her greatest strengths is her ability to keep multiple groups, activities, and responsibilities moving forward smoothly," they shared. “She makes everything she does look effortless and always does it with a smile.”
